Moving Earth presents photographs made while preparing a property for my future home in rural Connecticut. Finding an interconnectedness between labor, land, and local community has been vital. Intentionally cultivating nature has meant taking responsibility for its care and understanding its rhythms, all part of a rooting process that has led to a sense of belonging and fulfillment. The project is ongoing, utilizing a 4x5 film camera.
