Moving Earth presents photographs made while preparing a property for my future home in rural Connecticut. Intentionally cultivating nature has meant taking responsibility for its care and understanding its rhythms as I implement a building plan. This process has led to the discovery of an interconnectedness among land, labor, and the local community, fostering a sense of belonging and fulfillment that I hope to deepen. The project is ongoing, using a 4x5 film camera.
