Moving Earth is an ongoing photography project made as I prepare a property for my future home in rural Connecticut. Balancing a construction plan with the cultivation of nature has meant taking responsibility for its care and understanding its rhythms throughout the year. At the same time, the foundations of my personal life have significantly shifted, inevitably shaping how I view and interpret the worksite. All photos are made on 4x5 film.
