Traveling with sketchbook, ink and gouache.
During 2018, I travelled around the French countryside sketching plant life from observation. I drew with a cut reed and brush, using a limited palette of gouache and some calligraphy ink. I also included some drawings from the Met Museum’s Greek and Roman wing.
